Hey guys, i've just recovered from a pc crashdown. I'm very VERY fortunate that i didn't have to format my com. Damn windows, can't live with u can't live w/o u..cheebye.
My fyp/psm requires Visual Basic so i've installed VB 2005 Express Edition and after installation i've been getting a lot of pop-up windows that'll auto shut down my browsers, media players, etc. Normally it's ok, i'll just restart the mentioned programs until recently this happened :
"An unhandled win32 exception occurred in svchost.exe [xxx].
Just-In-Time debugging this exception failed with the following error : No
installed debugger has Just-In-Time debugging enabled. In
VisualStudio.."
This time damn serious, when start windows will get this pop-up n it won't go away. It has also disabled my network connections which auto means i can't connect to the internet. I've used my home com to search for solutions on the net but after trying many many "solutions" recommended in forums, the best i could do was disabling the pop-ups BUT my network is still down. Among the methods tried :
1) Uninstalling Visual Studio/.NET Framework 2.0/ etc.
2) Disabling JIT Debugger.
3) Re-enabling Dr Watson to handle exceptions.
4) Scan com for virus/adwares etc.
5) Utilizing Windows Recovery.
Without internet means got pc oso no use; if got pc oso no use means e-quan might as well die. I've oredi reached the point of thinking MUST FORMAT liao coz after seeing the various symptoms..i can summarize that my svchost.exe(which controls many windows functions) IS CORRUPTED. But b4 formatting always can do this last trick(which for this case..it worked!)
Ok..w/o wasting more time..let's go to the solution. I hope it can help other ppl facing the same prob. But as always if u corrupt ur com dun blame me..it might be u too n00b liao..hehe. Partly taken from my must-format post :
THE SOLUTION : REPAIR WINDOWS
(Strong recommendation : Back-up important data)
First u have to insert an ORIGINAL COPY OF WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL CD(which costs around rm600).
Remember..support Original..fight against Piracy. =)
Startup ur com and keep jab the "Delete" key to enter BIOS mode.
Play around till u find the "Boot Sequence" option or page. Set the CD/DVD rom as the 1st boot device. Save n restart ur com.
When this appears quickly SLAM ur palm on the keyboard..anywhere on the keyboard will do.
Press "ENTER".
"F8".
"R".
After this u wait for around half an hour like that for the whole process to end. When it does, ur com will restart n when u enter windows..WALAH..no more pop-ups n network connection back on. Most importantly, didn't have to format so saved alot ALOT of time n energy.

Recently i went on a family trip to Port Dickson. No..i didn't go to stalk Rufina Tan ok. She was in Doha anyway..hehe.
Tiara Beach Resort. U know..the one advertise in papers wan..say got the biggest man-made bitch beach in Malaysia wan. Wanted to stay here but quite X ar..so went other place.
We stayed in a baru-open-not-long punya The Legend Water Chalets. 1st time stay in water chalet..excited ar.

U see the shower place n the bath tub 1st..gaya bor.
Then walk straight somore will reach the bed room.
Eh strange. That means how la..if wan mandi then everybody ma see liao. Malu malu leh.
So hor..in between the bed room n the 'bath room' got this door halang wan. CONFIRM u all never c b4 rite? A door that can be locked from both inside n outside..wakaka!
Actually this water chalet more like for qing-lu(lovers) wan la. U know wat i mean..hehe. Kinky kinky kinky..

This time wan kai siao(introduce) my favourite(okla..i admit is my favourite coz leng lui..hehe..Elaine dun marah k) Malaysian athlete to Doha 2006 - 15-year-old Rufina Tan. She won gold for the Women's Sailing(Optimist Category) leh..keng!
Leng lui k..hehe. The onli info about her is she resides in Port Dickson. All PD-kias..stalk her man..hehe.
My all time favourite Leong Mun Yee this time not so cekap leh..got 2 bronzes for Women's Diving(3m Springboard & Synchro 3m Springboard) nia..but still boleh la.
Ok..this photo is can't show the leng-ness but seems that da internet dun have her photos leh. But is confirm leng coz ChunJern see b4 n he oso agrees wan. Info about her : Same age as me, resides in Ipoh, currently studying in UPM(Economics/Accounting). All Ipoh-kias n UPM-kias..stalk stalk stalk!
Eh..i got all those infos not b'coz i stalk ppl k. I got from the Doha 2006 official site wan. Wan complain something..even the doha site has more info about our local athletes compared to stupid Malaysian Olympic Council and Majlis Sukan Negara. Invest millions in stupid sports complex dowan invest a little on websites..damn.

This time i decided to leave for Klang early in da morning ler..5:30am. It's much more cooling. Lucky car din break down..if not sure die.
I had to fetch 3 CPUs this time(mine, elaine, and a fren's). This was how my boot looked like that morning.
Moral of the story : Buy LAPTOP la!
Carry a few things very tiring wan..then hungry liao. So we went for McD breakfast. Can camwhore somore.

Anyway..remember i needed to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT 3) ? The test was held last Sunday (03/12/06) in UPM. Haih..dowan tok about it liao. Die-ded. Preparing to receive "We regret to inform you that...Try again next year...LOSER!" letter this coming March. After test we went Mid-Valley jalan-jalan. Walau..damn alot ppl can?
YEH..won an Orange Juice at Burger King.."happy".
Mid-Valley is nicely decorated for Christmas. Really can feel the holiday season ler.

Unlike her, i usually don't write mushy stuffs on my blog. First of all, it's not that it's cannot write mushy stuffs on blogs. It's just that..i'm not a girl. Being a guy blogger, writing mushy stuffs will onli scare all my readers away..not to mention reading mushy stuffs(written by me self) will onli generate geli-bumps on my skin.

I dunno about u, but i think this is really memorable lor. Next time wuliao can read it n laugh, "Mahai, u still remember this cheebye movie anot? Wasted our money man.." etc etc. I'll end this post with a summary of the movies that me n Elaine had watched thus far..
Summary :
- Total movies watched is 54(i might have missed some tickets).
- This means if we were to go for a movie every weekend we can watch for a year+!
- We watched more english movies than chinese and japanese movies.
- We watched the "Infernal Affairs Trilogy" all three episodes in cinema.
- The most paria(waste time n money) english movies that we've watched it's either The Pink Panther, Firewall, or DOOM.
