Recently I had a business trip to Tampa, Florida, US of A..and man..that is a place really FAAAARRRRRRRRRR from home.
I was away for a total of 7 days and working days were 3 days. I spend 4 days just travelling(flights + waiting time)..WTF!!!
I had to go to Singapore > Frankfurt > New York > Tampa. The stop-overs are because MAS doesn't have an economy class flight from KL to New York on weekends..wtf.
However, I took Singapore Airlines and I must say..it's really good(from flight services to loyalty programme)! Asia airlines CONFIRM beat western airlines anytime.
Today, i'm gonna share on the F&B services on the long trip i've endured. Because the trip is so fucking long, you get to eat alot of meals on the plane..and some of them are actually pretty good! I even took some photos of them and scanned the menu for your perusal. Do enjoy..
When only I can sit Business Class?
We'll begin with Supper [Singapore to Frankfurt]
Grilled beef steak served with roasted assorted vegetables and rosemary flavoured potato.
Can you spot the red wine?
Before touch-down [Singapore to Frankfurt]
Fried noodle with honey glaced roast pork, vegetables and mushroom
Breakfast and Light meal [Frankfurt to New York]
Scrambled egg served with bacon, mushroom and hash brown potato
Chicken supreme served with buttered vegetables and sauteed farfalle pasta
Ice cream

During my short stay on US soil, didn't really get to see nor do much. Took the below photo of the hotel we stayed though..
Damn like those cheap motels we see in the movies right?
Actually the room is not bad la.
USD89 a night(not including tax).

NEW POST NEW POST! I mengaku kalah, I update my blog d. Stop pestering me, haha.
I just had a wonderful weekend with Elaine. Seperti biasa, we went to gai-gai in shopping malls again instead of gym n sports at the club. We fail everytime, haih. Tummy oh tummy, please go away.
Ok, this time wan kai siao u all one eating place. Elaine n I had always wanted to try this but this time only we berjaya-ed. It's called Tony Roma's. Currently it's available in Sunway Pyramid and Damansara Cineleisure nia. This restaurant is famous for its RIBS! SYIOK!
TR = Ribs, Seafood, Steaks.
I dunno about you but for beef, i prefer beef pasty(think TGI burger), and ribs more than steak. Tak tau appreciate the greatness of steak, fail, haha. Our first impression of this restaurant was: "Why so like TGI Friday's wan?". But nevertheless, the ambience was really nice and cozy, with dimmed lights and all.
So we were shown to our table and this really cute waitress(Elaine oredi killed me many times for this, haha) called Pamela(more about her later) served us for the night. These were what we ordered:Beautiful Bountiful Beef Ribs
Fish and Chips
Ribs bolehlah dimakan dengan 4 sos specialty yang ditawarkan oleh Tony's. WTF, ter-changed to Bahasa, sorry. But i'm good in BM. Let me continue:
Sos yang ditawarkan termasuklah:
(A) Sos asli, dalam bahasa laymen-nya ialah Original
(B) Sos BBQ, di mana ia merupakan sos kegemaran Pamela, katanya
(C) Sos Honey
dan
(D) Sos berperisa Cili, tetapi bukan sos cili
Sila buat pilihan anda.
Okay, anda pilih (B), Sos kegemaran Pamela, adakah ini Pilihan Muktamad anda?
Anda PASTI?
TAHNIAH, jawapan anda TEPAT SEKALI dan anda bolehlah makan sos tu sekarang!
WTF man, GO AWAY, the fei-ism inside me.
The ribs were very nice! Although i felt that they would be nicer if they weren't so dry. The fish boleh tahan juga. But Elaine and I both felt that the nicest was:
THE DESSERT!
Elaine is crazy about desserts. This is called TR’s Chocolate Avalanche. What was so nice about it was the molten chocolate cake which was still warm and served with cold ice-cream and topped with chocolate crumbles. Nice combo. SYIOK is the word.
"We should have ordered ten cups of this instead of having the main course!"
"...like this also can."
Ultimately, it was a fine dining experience. The bill end up to RM100+. I guess we'll just have to work harder to enjoy like this, haha.
-------
Ok, let me digress a little. Remember our waitress for the night, Pamela? Thanks to the almighty power of Google, i managed to find her blog! I guess everyone in Kuala Lampa blogs, haha. Just wanna say a few things to her:
Thanks for doing the sauce intro for the 32145687+n times.
Thanks for taking a photo for us.
and thanks for being a wonderful server that you are. Guess you can add on to your RM RM844.30 meal redemption(filling the survey now). Really syiok betul work there.
-------
Haha, guess sure kena again from Elaine. But nvm la, we look at lengchais and lengluis all the time. Elaine, 2ml monday d..

This post must be quite interesting. I think most of us have been wondering this:
Which pizza chain serves the best pizzas?
When talking about pizza chains in Malaysia, we can't help but to compare the largest two:
Pizza Hut and Domino's
So on a fine Thursday evening(that was last Thu), we've decided to have a PIZZA PARTY just to determine the BEST!
Well, you can't possibly taste two type of pizzas in one location so we've decided to order them and eat at Elaine's place.
Pizza Hut Malaysia had just set up their online ordering service so this enables me to test both of their delivery systems besides testing their taste. Good!
For you guys out there, to order online, please go to:
Pizza Hut - www.pizzahutonline.com.my
Domino's - www.dominos.com.my
Erm, 5 persons order how much oh?
After some deliberation, we've decided to order as follows(we took the promotion deals):
(+click on enlarge)
Pizza Hut:
2 regular pizzas and 4pcs deli wings
ETA: in 45 minutes
(+click on enlarge)
Domino's:
2 regular pizzas
ETA: 30 minutes
Both of the online systems were good. Intuitive GUI and all.
Well, of course 30 minutes of delivering time of Domino's doesn't mean it's better-lar, cause it's dependant on your location and its nearest branch.
Pizza Hut arrived first. Took 44 minutes. Ok, not bad.
Domino's took 36 minutes. It's not too late either.
But since we're doing a comparison, so ok, delivery time Pizza Hut wins!
This is Domino's pizzas. Wow, looks appetizing!
This is Pizza Hut's pizzas. WTF!
Look at this mess.
Looks wise Domino's wins!
Ok pizzas, line up for a group photo now.
Pizza Hut came with Life chilli sauce whereas Domino's came with chilli flakes and some tissues.
IT'S TIME TO EAT!
.
..
...
Imagine the 5 of us(Me, Elaine, IanCing, YewFatt, and YeeChong) savouring our pizzas here.
...
..
.
I'm actually wuliao enough that I prepared score cards for us to give marks to.
We didn't use it cause others felt that I'm too wuliao to be taken for serious. Haha.
But overall we were unanimous with our decisions on the Looks, Smell, and Taste.
Looks: (Refer to above)
Smell: Hard to determine. But YewFatt said when opening Domino's box, he could smell the aroma of the freshly baked pizzas, whereas almost none for Pizza Hut's.
Taste:
Pizza Hut
- Island Supreme(Regular Pan): Not bad. Everyone liked the sauce.
- Hawaiian Chicken(Crunchy Crust): Total mess. The back of the pizza was over toasted. It tasted even worse when it got cooler.
- Deli Wings: Unsurprisingly, the chicken emerged champion from the package. Haha.
Domino's
- Chicken Pepperoni(Classic Hand Tossed): It's the best looking pizza from the four. Tastes not bad also.
- Spicy Sausage(Crunchy Thin Crust): It's the tastiest pizza from the four. It came as a surprise as we were only experimenting with the Spicy Sambal Sauce series.
Taste wise, Domino's wins hands down!
Overall, two regular Domino's pizzas cost us RM30.00.
Pizza Hut's two regulars and 4 deli wings costs us RM32.66.
Price wise Pizza Hut wins! Really affordable.
-------
Conclusion:
- Delivery Time: Pizza Hut
- Looks: Domino's
- Smell: Undecided
- Taste: Domino's
- Price: Pizza Hut

I really like this photo (cos i took wan). It kinda demonstrates a term in arts called "perspective". Should have called somebody stand at the FAR FAR end there to increase the idea.

Yo yo..to a more recent event. This one not that out-dated k.
One fine day..dengar khabar our dearest Ean-jie..recommend say hor..got one Nasi Lemak in Sri Putri damn cekap. Ask us go try wor.

Happy and satisfied patrons.
Me n Fatt-go aka AngMo. His shirt the "le" very sharp ar.
Group photo. I just hate my camera when it comes to nite shots. Tak cekap wan.
My two cents : For me the nasi lemak is very sedap. However, it doesn't contain any special something that makes it shine compared to others. Erm..quite expensive too. Paiseh ha Ean-jie, just telling wat i feel.

The below happened when i was having my 2006 end of year semester break.
My sis got not bad result in school(form 1) so Mom decided to cook abalone(from can wan la). It looks nice rite? But after we tasted it..we decided never to buy canned abalone anymore..tak boleh pakai.
When SzeLek came over to Klang during hols bawak him go eat special bahkuteh..in bowl wan. I know it's damn plain coz just got one piece of meat but it's damn sedap k. SERIOUS! Anyway, i'm seeing alot of "Klang Bahkuteh" signboards all over places other than Klang(Skudai oso alot)..plz dun go try k. It is TAK MUNGKIN can fight Klang wan..NEVER.
Observed ppl : E-quan is can cook western breakfast k. E-quan is serba-boleh..wakakkakaak!
Oh yeah..u all been to this place bor? Ok..i admit i is seldom eat siu long baos but the ones here are really nice! Maybe Shang Hai's should be better but i dunno la. RM8 for 4 biji. It's actually reasonable coz u go Sushi King one plate salmon sushi oso RM4 ma(2 biji nia).
And then i was in Genting(AGAIN!). Went to watch 4 Asian Divas' concert.
Anita Sarawak ROX!!! Her showmanship(or showwomanship..watever!) is superb. Her experience really boosts her everything. She can sing many chinese songs and even a yuet-kok. When she finished the yuet-kok the man sitting at my back shouted "HAO HAO!!"(Good good!!). That's how good she is.
Then when go Genting we always go makan at Gohtong Jaya wan. My mom bought a comb of banana(sesikat pisang..wakaka!) there. It's not normal bananas..
Anything bigger than my 3310 is HUGE!
See the circumference(lilitan). I wish my..........oh nvm. Nsfw.
Cheebye..somore got seeds can? Pernah eat banana got seed bor?
P/s : Anyway, the banana wasn't tasty.
